Conexant High-Definition Audio Driver for XP anyone???

Can some one please help beofre i pull my hair out... well what i have left of it anyway!!I've a compaq c742ea that was runing vista... I hate vista and thought i would put xp on it, had problems with the mouse, keyboard, quick launch etc but i got that all sorted but now im stuck. Im trying to get XP drivers for Conexant High-Definition Audio Driver to work with XP but can get them anywhere, i've tried installing the Microsoft UAA to see if i could get it going but im still going no where fast! please help

got it sorted, i installed the Microsoft UAA driver then downloaded the high defination audio drivers for vista, i then went into the device manager and hit update drivers and i let it search the internet for them and bada bing, sound! thanks!!
