limited connection

whats wrong with my wifi ? i can connect ok with ethernet cable but wire-less gives me limited connectivity i have updated driver un/reinstalled device reset router been on the phone to sky for ages to no avail im sure router is ok coz i have another laptop and pc plus xbox and printer all working fine is the wifi goosed ? the card is atheros ar5007eg, running on vista home other lappy win7 pc is xp..cheers

Does your other laptop connect through wireless? If so does it also have limited connectivity? If it does as well it sounds like a router issue, if not then a wireless card issue with the laptop.

If it's the router, you could look for a firmware update and see if that helps.

I had a linksys router that developed this problem over time. It was a hardware issue, and the fix was to buy a new one.
