Check hdd connection, try to run windows in safe mode. If problem still remains try to reset bios.

Reset bios using pins on mainboard (read pcb manual) with bios battery removing. But first START WINSHIT IN SAFE MODE. Tap and hold F8 while booting, when options appears choose safe mode. If wont help try to repair installation. If still wont help format then

Try removing a dimm of ram. Then the other if that don't work.

If you boot from cd/dvd does it still freeze? If so try swapping the hdd lead sata or ide for a spare

This has happened to me a few times. Sometimes a RAM issue as Cunny said, but if this doesn't work, take it apart and assemble it out of the case and try. I do it on an old MB box. Sometimes the Mboard gets shorted or twisted a bit.

First Test Swap Ur Power Supply

Second Use Minamal Ram 512MB or 1GB

Thrid Test Change the Graphics Card

if u have another machine put ur swap the hdd see if it boots

Is it freezing at the same part and if so what is that part or is it intermittent.

I would suggest that if all you have done is put it in a new case it is shorting somewhere try checking the connections, failing that take it out the case and try to install it
