    Toshiba satellite L350-159

Hi I've got this laptop back again to sort for a friend,it was originally on vista,it packed in and the shop replaced the HD it came back with a copy disc VISTA and it worked for a wee while. To cut a long story short,it buffered up again and I've tried and tried to sort it for him,if put 3 HD,s in it but it won't take the vista,I've tried XP in it ,but it keeps saying that it won't copy certain files,I've tried ubunto but the blue screen of death comes up,I've tried windows 7 this did work before but not now,it comes up again with the. Blue screen with different messages like if you have recently changed hardware or soft whare ,I've even tried changing the memory, but it don't work,I've managed to put XP Unattended into it but it just hangs up when you start it,it will work when I start it in safe mode, but that's not convinient, can any members assist,or recommend a programme that would work

I run into a lot of older equipment that won't read my installation CDs. Sometimes I have to sit there and swap CDs and/or press retry until it get's past the troublesome files. However, sometimes the only option is to skip the file. If you are lucky, and it's only a font file or some help file that's not critical for windows it will eventually complete the installation.
