hi guys i have 1 of these laptops off a friend with a problem,first it says bootmgr is missing,so i tried put vista back on and repair but 5 Min's loading blue screen comes on the restarts,i have tried all command port tricks no luck,so iv been told hard drive ~~~~ed,does any 1 no cheap place to get 1 or another way to fix this,thanx

Before you spend money on a HD, have you tried to fix the boot manager? It's pretty easy.

turn on hold f10... in sony recovery centre you can perform hardware test. there hdd test usually accurate. sounds like its gubbed. test and see.
