Well now its my turn, like an idiot I deleted the wrong partition and lost all my stuff.

Usually I just run Easeus and after ages I get them back but for some reason Easeus isn't giving me a partition to select so wont scan

Any suggestions for an alternative? Has to be good cuse the basic ones won't recover after the partition has been deleted.

I use EASEUS data recovery wizard pro v4.3.6, works great. maybe you can try different version from your previous one, it's not hurt to try

Did you manage to recover accidently deleted partition,
if so can you let me know program you used and did you manage to recover all your lost data?

i have accidently deleted seagate external hdd partition while trying to load win xp, i did not formated as i relised the mistake.

any idea how to recover lost data as i have important stuff, eg. photos. videos, folders, etc.

does anyone else knows best software thats works. thanks help apreciated.

solved, i used EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional 5.5.1. Fully recovred all the folders and files in few hours and it is easy to run.

Time to bring this thread back to life now as it's my turn managed to unintentionally format my 1tb internal drive. Lost tons of personal files in the process, got most of them back. Not written anything on the drive since the incident. The main thing I need is to be able to recover large mkv and rar files. What is the best software to use? I have tried a couple, Recuva and O&O Disc Recovery (Pile of shite, this took an age but freezes right towards the end & slows whole computer down) tried twice. I would advise anyone to stay well away from O&O. If someone has successfully recovered large mkv and/or rar files please let me know which software was used. Thanks
