router trouble

my router has just stopped connecting to the internet also it will not connect to the pc with its ip of 192.168.1.1

the router is a tp-linkwr841n


i have reset the router,i have used the pc to directly connect instead of automatic still no joy,the cable is ok as i am using it now to connect my modem direct to pc but for some unknown reason it wont connect


btw the system light keeps flashing i think before it ~~~~ed up it was steady and it was not on at all before i reset the router if that helps anyone

You could try updating the firmware, here the link for your router

try logging into the router, restoring factory settings, or there could be a little reset on the back like ours but ours is a linksys, hold it in for about 30 secs to a min

Maybe the power supply. I`ve had a couple do this.

wll you were right m8 apparantly these tp links are a bit buggy and can go off and stop you connecting to the router but the firmware fix solves this problem so im back and good to go cheers
