netgear wireless adapter yellow light on

ive got netgear wireless router been workin fine i un plugged it to decoratin ..wen i plugged back in theres just a yellow light on it (looks like a i lit up in yellow }the wireless symbol int coming on ...my computers workin fine from main moden wen connected with lan cable .....ive tried reset button but no different ?all help appriceited ....idiots guide please step by step it states on computer no ip ,,,how do i rectify all this

on the back of your router there must be a sticker with how to get to the admin page.
login to the admin page and try a factory reset.

probably your best bet,if having trouble,start from scratch,take it you dont have instal disc,you could have damaged drivers in windows,type model number in google,then go to netgear site,get all info from there how to instal.your router should have an ip address that you type into browser and that will let you into admin page of router,ie somthing like this http://192.168.2.1
if not just follow netgear instructions fom there site,get all downloads you need from there.
i dont have netgear have a belkin.mine did it all automatic,only thing i need touch is switch wireless of and on.sorry if cant be any more help.
