    Dell latitude d630

I have a latitude that I picked up at a yard sale and can't get into it because I have no password. When I turn it on it goes to a white screen that says this computer is protected by a password authentication system. Would like to see if anyone can help me with a password/ bios pass the computer number that is on screen is #3M874D1-595B. ,

flash the bios, you need a boot loader and hold the fn key so it boots cd before bios, if you can boot off cd though just erase hd and reload xp, here is a link from dell on this

              Hi there,

I have a Dell Latitude D630 that I stupidly reset back to factory settings, which reset the hdd password and now I don't know what it is.

my hdd code is #XC508531750-595B (0s are zeros)

Can any advise how I can recover the password.

              Thanks
