im using windows 7 if install eset smart security i can't see my nas drive on my workgroup network without eset i can see no problems anybody got any ideas cheers

Maybe try adding an exception in "Rules & Zones" and also enable Upnp in "IDS & Advanced Options" -
i enabled upnp it shows my diskstation but it takes me to browser where i have to login. before i reformated my pc i could see it in connections click on it. and go straight to my folders on the nas driveComment

got it sorted used different windows disc to reinstall os and all workingComment
