Speaker config under vista

    Speaker config under vista

    Hi guys.

    Just installed win vista ultimate. Can i get all my speakers running under winamp or media player can i hell. I know i am over looking something somewhere.
    Only 1 speaker running with mp3s playing, not tried audio cd.
    Under the test they all have sounds.
    Undated drivers, changed audio quality output.

    Its a realtek hd sound manager system and the board is a
    asrock 939nf6g-vsta

    Any suggestions would be very helpful as this is nopw driving me up the wall and if i dont get it sorted your all coming with me .

    Yeah go back to Win Xp, why bother with a half hearted o/s that was thrown together, and is already being binned by m$

      Believe it or not i have just done that , tried for few hours to see what i could do but guess it just wont work.

        what do you mean you have tried that,but cant do that..


        just format it and fresh install of XP

          I meant i did a format, installed Win xp and back to normal.

          I was saying that i dont think my audio chipset is fully supported correctly under Win Vista.
