HI , i have a problem with installation of Vista over XP. i have Acer Aspire 0ne, notebook, im trying to install window vista from a usb stick, but when i get to 92% of the installation it stops and shows the (error code ox80070070, i have looked this error up on line and it tells me that i have ran out of space on the drive, but the drive shows 7.8 gb free on the drive, so i dont know why it wont finish the installation? any help or advice welcome, thanks ranger.

what size is your HDD
I believe Vista requires 15GB to allow installation -
hi Smoggy, thanks for your answer, it tell me that ( The selected partition requires at least 6758 MB free space) the ( disk 0 partition 1 total size is 7.5 GB. and when its stops the loading from the usb sitck at 92% it shows (total size 7.5 GB and 486 mb free space, any idea how big xp is in GB? thanks again,, ranger,Comment
