    tower problem

got a bit of a tower problem at the minute, for some reason my tower is screaming when i start up, it sounds like im burning a disk, freezing & had the blue screen yesterday saying windows has shut down your computer to prevent any damage blah blah a recent hardware installation etc. i aint touched the computer at all & this has just started out of nowhere, now for the 2 stupid questions im going to ask
    1) could this be down to dust ? ( i have african greys & the amount of dander (dust) off them is amazing , could a clean sort it ?
    2) the only recent addition to my network was the openbox s11, could that have anything to do with it ?
thanks for any advice , its doing my head in

1.the screaming is the fan(s) in your tower,it will clear after about 4 mins..yes.
get new fan only couple quid of right place.

i always clean out my pc tower every 3 months,i use a tooth brush then hoover crap from bottom.

you have a lot of greeks hiding in your pc,ready to attack you.

get a scan done with own anti virus/spyware tools,
after that go here and do another scan to make sure pc clean........online scan HouseCall - Free Online Virus and Spyware Scan

get pc cleaned out first then tackle hardware problem if still comes up.

but brace yourself..as it might come to a format of hard drive.all depends what is embedded in pc.

thanks for reply m8, been wrecking my brains to try & remember when this started, it was after a avast update, removed avast, installed avg ,scanned & found the errors in the post above, got rid of them & done a scan with your reccomendation , nothing in here now & all seems fine, thanks again

Can you post more info? Windows version? Hardware inside the PC.

Clean all heatsink fans (CPU GFX Card) with a can of air, not a hoover. These are about ?3 from asda. Of fans are still going mad, then look in the BIOS for temp.

Remove fans, remove old paste and repaste with atric silver. See if that helps.

The fact your getting BSOD dont help matters as 8/10 times its due to hardware failures like ram, hdd
