Older card readers won't read SDHC. Strange the Win7 PC won't read it though.

I have an older card reader that won't read SDHC either, it only reads up to 2GB non SDHC.

Well my laptop is old so it doesn't have a SD card slot neither does my desktop. I bought a USB SD card reader and it read all my 2GB SD, 4GB SDHC and 8GB SDHC. Windows will format in FAT32 for your Wii.

I bought a cheap one of fleabay ?2.50 it lasted a week they sent me a new on and that was getting iffi after 4 months. I bought a more expensive one from Maplin's ?9.99 and that has worked everytime for the last 8 months.

You get what you pay for so Google them.

Yes there are switches on SD cards but it should still show in Windows.

Hi mate. Older card readers won't read anything bigger than 2gb cards. There isn't to my knowledge any patches/fixes for this (I've tried). I'm afraid you'll have to go for a new external card reader - unless you have a newish digital camera (for example) that reads SDHC cards, it would just be a case of connecting this to your pc and using it as your card reader.
