my hotmail address does it have a virus?

just logged into my hotmail account and some of my recent emails had been deleted (not by me) but i checked and recovered them and sometimes usually early sunday mornings it seems my computer sends out emails to about 6 addresses 5 of which always come back via postmaster but 1 usually gets through to my mate and one got through to relatives in australia,i run regular microsoft security essentials virus scans and malwarebytes scans and neither seem to find it,i ran both of these last night after i downloaded some poker software and both came back clean. i never share my passwords with anyone and have just changed my hotmail one again today but it seems there is definately a problem with my hotmail. any ideas?

First tha all, run a antivirus on your computer, later run ccleaner, and hijackthis, after that run spybot search and destroy and finally change your hotmail password

For years I have never had a problem with my hotmail then one day everyone in my address book received a mail from me which I had never sent. It turned out the Chinese traders hacked my mail with a program which tried various combinations and as my password was only five digits long it was not a huge problem for them to hack it. I changed my password to something more complex and this resolved my problem.

it looks like a lot more of emails from my inbox have been deleted but i can recover them,i dont really understand all the different scanners etc but mse and malwarebytes dont seem to be picking up anything, and i'm always worried about downloading stuff i dont understand like hijackthis and spybot etc.

Change your password to something like a sentence so its hard for anyone to access your mail. You should download and use Spybot Search & Destroy as that is very good for finding unwanted stuff on your pc.
