When the paste dries that means it's got VERY HOT! be sure you check the fan on it.

Soz, for some reason thread didnt appear in my notifications.
Thats good logic . Umm yeh as above check the fan(s) work. give it a good clean.. tin of compressed air is great for cleaning insides out.
Did you get the paste yet to try it out?
