PC keeps crashing/freezing Please Help***

How can I find out why it keeps freezing, after turning on usualy it freezes within 15 20 mins

nope no blue screens literally freezes as in mouse wont moove cap lock wont turn off nothing I can do desktop still making noise but nothing happening

i had a similar problem pc kept freezing within about 15 to 20 minutes of boot up it turned out to be a failing psu which was the cause or it could be just an accumilation of dust causing the cpu to overheat.

Defo sounds like a cooling issue be it psu or cpu ect. I'd clean out and repaste if needed

try restoring to last known configuration, if it works then software is your problem

Do as stated above, also open it & give it a good hoover out or get a can of compressed air in & around the fans. How old is it? When did this start happening? Was it ok before you installed a certain program?

sounds like its over heating give it a clean then try again

guys I thought it was due to that also so I got this:

installed it,

tightly on, still same shit happens, its so annoying, the computer is no more than a year old,

and I installed windows 7 a few months ago, for the first month it was fine now its giving me this really stuck for ideas

as i said in my earlier post about a faulty psu causing my pc to freeze, i see you are using a gigabyte board which has the following features in the bios

System voltage detection
CPU/System temperature detection
CPU/System fan speed detection
CPU overheating warning
CPU/System fan fail warning
CPU fan speed control

the board in mine is a gigabyte board using similar features in mine i noted that there was a failure with the system voltage this was the cause of mine to freeze.

I had this on a Gigabyte Board, turned out to be a defective memory module.

In engineering terms, you could "let the fault develop", which is slang for "we cant find anything wrong, so bring it back when its really broken, and then the fault will be obvious", or you could isolate the fault by removing (one at a time) any extrad hard rives, graphics processors, fans, memory modules etc. until the fault goes away. Whatever you pulled last, thats that bit thats knackered...
