    USB/ HDD troubles

    hay all little conumdrom for ya'll i bot me pc up but have trouble with the bios picking up the HDD's dont happen all the time though and my pc regurly crashes due to "usb" trouble no idea why tho hope some one can help

    I would be inclined to update the bios as you have a couple of key issues there that could be cured in one go...

      I would also try changing the hard drive cables for new ones, could be a loose connection

        I would agree with Caveman, Try updating your bios.
        I would have to ask how old are your hard drives?
        Is there any noise coming from them when you boot your computer up?
        Sometimes a hard drive on its way out dies a slow death & basically has trouble being seen by the Bios on start up and therefore it takes some time for the computer to realise that the hard drive isnt working an declares it not present.

        if still no joy after you have flashed the bios (that might sort your Usb problem out) i would next check your hard drive(s)
