YUK!! Get rid of vista!! Is your system 32bit or 64bit. Download a windows 7 iso and do a fresh install, build your system then to suit yourself with media player, photo viewer and whatever software you are in to. No tosh bloatware, pay for a good anti-virus such as vipre, lightweight and extremely effective.

            Keyboard is stuck

You keyboard is stuck. you need to unstick it. If just blowing it out to clean it doesn't work then you will need to replace it. You can get a new one for $35.00 us on amozon. Go to youtube and search "m50-244 Replace Keyboard" and watch the video. You cann't install any OS untill you fix this problem. Go with win7 for the install.

                  type this into google
Toshibia 'your model number' keyboard remove guide
then on the bottom of the removed keyboard u will find a product code which then when u type into ebay or google u will find
                  a replacement

                  good luck

                        Never Tryed

I've never booted a laptop without a keyboard installed (didn't think the BIOS could get past that), but if it will , BE CAREFUL removing it (Watch the video) the conector lock can be a problem.

you may want to check the BIOS to be sure USB mouse and /or keyboard is enabled (if it has that setting).

if the key board u plugged in via usb isn't installing automatically then go to your device manager find the hardware KEYBOARD expand this and right click on the unknown device and click update driver software

if that dont work tell use the make n model of ur keyboard n we will find the correct drivers for you

on the underside of the broken laptop keyboard did u find a replacement model number code ?
