    exe file extensions

    ok here goes im running windows 7 when i try to open a exe file extension another folder opens on my pc but nothink hapens any help please no error nothink

    what exe is it that ur trying to run? and what is the name of the folder that opens? or is it a dos window that open? if it black then thats a dos window and u dont want to be closing them down manually when they are open

          I thought the link was Self-Explanatory

          Click on .exe link
          Save it on your desktop or anywhere on you pc
          Right click on the saved file
          Click Merge

          This shall restore the .exe association

            all the files here are .REG

            download double click and rewrite the registry

              ok when i left click a rar file on here i want to download it opens up another window on my pc but no download starts if i right click then open in another tab i can get my download but when browseing and i want to start an exe file like say trend micro i can see start i press start and nothink happens hope this helps oh i have done the above and still same
