    Aspire 5920G display problem

Hi guys , I have an aspire 5920G which has display problems, in fact recently when I turn on the computer nothing appears on the screen but the hard drive LED indicates that involves a possible startup of the system, I tried to boot from a external monitor but nothing too, so I tried the method of heating a 150 degree my graphics card NVIDIA 8600m, after that I still do not display on my laptop screen but with 'external screen I display without problem, so firstly my graphics card is not very far from HS, since after heating it works (for a while I think), but if I' m to get a new graphics card is that my laptop LCD screen will work again ?, thank you in advance
    Best regards

In my experience if after heating the GPU and you get a picture on an external monitor, where before you had no picture, but nothing on the laptop screen,Then you need to look at the possibility that your screen has gone.Or check that all screen connectors are well seated in their respective sockets.Another problem could be that the backlight has blown and will need replacing (if indeed the model of laptop has one fitted) or the screen inverter has blown.

Heat gpu core for 10 seconds with 260 degree and try to power on. If you will have the picture on lcd screen, it means that chipset is dead. Replace only with brand new.
GPU has nothing to do with inverter and backlight.

No-one said the GPU had anything to do with inverter or backlight.
They also happen to be two other areas to check if attempts on the GPU fail.
Please read posts thoroughly before replying, saves a lot of confusion.
