    driver problems with acer dvd/cd

    hi all will some one be able to help me get my drivers for my acer dvd/cd plz and ty

      I have 4 pcs and have never to had to load a driver to make them work, do you mean audio drivers.............

          what was mate went out side and come back and the baby was messing with the computer and when i went to use me dvd drive it would not work what ever he has done but when checking it says drivers missing

              Go to device manager and check it there. If it shows your drive uninstall it then restart your PC. It will install new drivers.

              If you cant see your DVD then check all your connections as something might of come loose......

                  Do a system restore to b4 the baby played with it that should put it back to how it was m8..............

                      It's unusual for DVD/CD drives to require drivers. As mentioned in another uninstall and see if Windows picks the hardware up again. Go into device manager then find the drive, right click then click uninstall. Reboot and see if Windows finds the new hardware and installs automatically. Failing that download from Acer website.

                              sorry guys have not been on been to work but thank for all your help but i have tryed doing that it says its there and i uninstall it when i turn off computre and then put it back on it just says error windows can not up date drivers

                                  Make sure its activated to boot in your bios settings.
                                  At start up press either f2 or del depending on what type of pc you have.
                                  Scroll through the menus and make sure its set to boot..

                                      hi just been in the bios and it says a device enclosed inparenthesis has been disabled in the corresponding type menu
