1st thing i would do is uninstall then reinstall the drivers

i have a epsom r265 ... dont really use discs anymore but from what i recall it use to get a bit silly every now and again and doing a driver reinstall sorted it out

What software are you using to print to disc?

        Right Disc?

As I understand it, you need to use Printable discs (I've seen at Staples). I don't know this for sure as I've never printed to a disc myself. What I do know is that the ink from the printer will react with the lasser on a burner and will kill your burner in a short time. I have replaced Six of them in the last year for my customers and all where for that reason. Asus and Pioneer both say not burn disc that have been printed on an inkjet printer, so Print after you Burn.

Also clean any white squares on the disk tray. These are alignment markers & could be misread by the printer.

There are three on the arrow side & one on the lead edge.

im using the epson print cd for printing to disc that came with the printer. i reloaded disc that came with it and have cleaned tray. when it starts the tray goes in to the printer but comes back out again after a few secs. the printer is not near a wall so plenty of room at the back etc. i always print after burning cd

              think its ****ed

When you click print and the dialog screen appears, is your printer found in the printer menu, also try resetting print position in that screen

yip cunny did that. the tray goes in and then out then its as if the rollers cant grasp it in again and it just spits it out. ive tried dozens of times. so frustrating.

My 265 went like that, i had to give it a nudge when it was taking the tray in, but that finally gave up and ended up buying a PX730WD

It has a internal disc tray that it spits out for the disc to be sat on for printing

lainie grab another disc tray from ebay. The one that came with my 220 lasted for about 10 discs then started doing exactly the same. New tray from ebay working perfect. You are right in thinking the rollers aren't catching it properly, they are very stupid and need to be lined up bang on
