windows 98 installing problem

Hi
I needed to install window 98 on a pc for a certain software. While installing something gone wrong, keeps asking to clean disk then press ok but still the same. got a different windows disk now. I need pc to boot up off the cd windows 98 disk, how do i do that

m8 try installing it using vmware

what is the program u trying to use ???

there is compatibility mode in xp vista & 7

Go into the pc system bios and make sure first boot device is cdrom, it should then boot from the cd (if it's a bootable cd)

Also check the format on the HDD. 98 won't work with NTFS. Make sure you format for FAT32
