i have an old pc tower and i want to install a new copy of windows but the pc has an old admin password is there anyway of of by-passing this....thanks

the pass word its ask you for when the pc is just booting up into windows

get hirens boot disc, lots of tools to get round this on there

it sounds like it asks for a windows password and if you dont know it you can find it out by using a special cd that you can make using Ophcrack from here: Ophcrack

If its a bios P/W take the battery out of te motherboard for half an hour that should reset it...................

if it's a bios pass it can also have a switch on the motherboard to clear the bios password
