as far as I am aware the only solution for suffix 1D3B and 1F5A is from DELL probably free if you can prove ownership or at a cost from paid service websites (unless you can downgrade the BIOS version which if you can is not recommended)
Sony one time key from serial number is freely available

Smoggy, im a 1D3B .....newer dell (not free even on dell) and Sony Ebay seller. where did you find sony one time key free?! the only sony free is the keygen of 7digits serial which is old!
im talking about new sony wich generate a 4X4 key xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx . downgrade bios not work because Password crypted in the Keyboard controller chip.

I was referring to the old serial generator/matrix for last seven digits of serial


someone who I helped once said he got round the new Suffix by downgrading the BIOS

Here is his reply to me:

It appears that the suffix is directly related to the BIOS version that is installed on the computer. I had A18 installed as did another friend of mine ... we both had the 3A5B suffix.

I downloaded the A12 BIOS from the Dell website using the following link:

http://downloads.dell.com/bios/D630_A12.EXE

The downgrade program is run from within Windows. The program will tell you that you're downgrading and Dell doesn't recommend that, but just ignore that. Once downgraded, the suffix had changed to -595B. Used the password you gave me to remove the Admin lock and then upgraded my BIOS back to the A18 version I was using before. The link for that is:

One can also get that BIOS by just going to the Dell support page.
