Hi lads, posted a thread yesterday/virus spywearbot/ i downloaded spywareblaster and found some trojans and deleted, ran another scan last night, and today the screen says PC had to shut down to protect Ur PC from fatal erears has done this before,so i shut it down power off the lot, re started on load up it made a sound like it was just about to shut down and now all i get is a blank screen,try-ed power on off but still the same,IS THIS THE END

So when you push the power button you no longer even get the splash screen of the manufacturer or the memory count?

What make and model numbber is the laptop?

          What was the 'sound'?

What version of windows are you using?

The above info will help us diagnose what the issue could be and what you will need to do (hopefully)

Have you tried a master reset, if you laptop does not have a button for this just unplug the power adapter and then the main battery for a couple of minubtes. Then put re-attach them and see if that does anything for a start...
