Can't get pass My Administration password On My Dell Inspiron 9400

hello My name is marvin.. I have an laptop that was given to me about 7or 8 months ago. I can not get into the computer at all. its telling me on a black screen INVALID CONFIGURATION INFORMATION-PLEASE RUN SETUP PROGRAM. Then it Goes to a white screen saying THIS SYSTEM IS #4R12P91-595B, IS PROTECTED BY A PASSWORD AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM. YOU CANNOT ACCESS THE DATA ON THIS COMPUTER WITHOUT THE CORRECT PASSWORD.

Can somebody please help me i don't know what to do...

hello SMOGGY that password work just fine thank you so much. but know it's asking for a Password For System HDD. IT SAYS HARD DISK #Z12Y0GEJDME-595B

its not something I can sort for you at this minute but yes there are various software programs and methods to get you round it.
if you google "forgot my windows admin password" you should get plenty of sites to help you
