Remove CMOS Battery

Remove both Batterys (Main and CMOS). With the CMOS battery out short across the pos. and neg. connections in the Battery holder for a count 3. Replace both Batterys, start and go into setup and fix your time and date. Reboot and be happy.

thinkpads have a good security the chip where the bios password has to be replaced if your locked out it gives you so many chances then its solder time ebay youll find the chip programmed for your board just gotta solder it in had same problem few years back IBM just replace the board
