    pupsc removal

i have removed pupsc threats from my desktop and laptop computers ,my desktop is running win xp and lappy is running vista and i used mbam and spybot to get rid of them.
i have now tried to do the same on my brothers lappy which is a dell running vista ,when i scan with mbam no threats are found but when i scan with spybot there are pupsc threats on it and spybot will not remove them .any one any ideas .
    thanks cam

according to a spybot advisor, pups stands for potentially unwanted programs
does it give any indication of any programs etc. in the threat message

it could be or associated with one of your browser toolbars
Have you tried running spybot in safe mode
