groupmanager.ex stops my pc shuting down. have you guys gpt any ideas what it is & how i get rid of it.

only repeating what I have read.
a search brought up a post indicating it might have been associated with Creative ZEN's management suite (does this ring a bell)
have a look in task manager and see if you can see it running, if it is stop it.
check in msconfig and if its ticked to start up at start up untick it

Thanx for this but iam running vista so how do you do misconfig etc???

click on start (very bottom left hand corner)
in the search box type run (you will see the run command)
click on run and in the box that opens type msconfig, this opens the system configuration box
click on the start up tab and untick anything you don't want to run at start up.
