Hp Laptop problem please help

I have got a laptop hp model G61-110SA laptop I tried running on win7 and win8 the problem I am having is when I switch of the laptop after few minutes I can not switch it on again unless I takeout the master battery out and in again then it will switch on.

I have adjusted the timing on screen and also adjusted sleeping timing on a longer period but still having to take the battery out to run the laptop.

Any idea very much appreciate your help

Try either resetting the Bios or updating it.

The chances are windows 8 tried to change something & it's caused a problem with the power functions.
