norton ghost back up

i have just tried to back up my OLD 160gig IDE Boot Drive to a 1TB new SATA Drive all the files have moved over to the new drive but when i disconnect my 160 IDE the new Drive will not boot up properly -- it goes through the Boot sequence asking for a password then loads the screen but with no icons or any thing on it just a blank screen am i missing something

try this - making all ur hidden files visable before u make a ghost image

u could also try putting the disk in and doing a repair on the ghost image
