hi can anyone help me i have a dell inspiron mini ....when i try to turn it on it askes me to enter hdd password, when i try 3 times it says


HDD PASSWORD ERROR CODE [13004]
SYSTEM SERVICE TAG CODE [3MVBMK1]

what can i do to fix it ??

can someone help me to find out what password it is ??

i would really appreciate it

not sure if you can read or change the password, but you might be able to reset it, try to remove the cmos battery(not sure if it'll work.)

i would try to see if linux could read it and maybe backup the data before attempting other solutions.
