    Epson ink

Guys I've got an epson printer which I use only a couple of times a year. Every time I use it the nozzles need cleaned and it takes ages to get it to print properly. Should I be removing the ink cartridges after I've finished my printing. Is it ok to do this.

I found removing the ink to make a right mess when putting em back ... they seemed to leak. I just try to remember to print something off every couple of weeks and that seems to keep em flowing.

I use the replacement inks off of *bay ... As the Mrs is getting on a bit she can't charge the same prices as a few years ago so i have to make her work more punters each night to bring in the difference.

As above you need to print once a week at least to stop the jets drying out when using compatible ink's had a few Epsons now and learnt the hard way ....

A lot of the copy inks have a cleaner solution included to try & stop the jets from blocking.

Forget about printing once a week, oncde a month is more than enough to keep things flowing.
