1st thing is not to install anything and try not to save anything to the drive ... items are still there until written over which will make them impossible to recover, had a program to recover deleted stuff that worked well a few yrs back ... cant remember what it was called ... will try to recall its name -
Try a portable recovery app, this doesn't need installing on PC, it runs from a usb stick so you wont overwrite any of the deleted objects you want to recover. Have a look at this one Portable Data Recovery | Portable USB ApplicationsComment

I've used Diskdigger in the past. Think I might still have it on my desktop, I'll upload it if I can find it.Canker

Well there are data recovery companies out there, who will get your stuff back. If they don't you won't pay. Google it for your local area. There's a very good one in Glasgow where I live.

Glad your nearly sorted ted. I would not pay for any data recovery unless a disc is damaged as there is software outhere that will do this for you. I know, i have done this countless timessigpic
