COPYING A DUAL LAYER SAT NAV DISC

    hello,
can anyone help me out,i have made some images of sat nav discs that i want to burn...the images are 6gb etc.so i have burnt them on dual layer dvds.the data on the discs is identical to the original discs....but they wont read in the sat nav unit----DISC NOT FOUND---.

I used + discs.......is it critical i use the correct format + or - disc,

If the reader only supports 1 type of media then yes

I would suspect there is some kind of copy protection on the original disc that the sat nav is looking for.
I did find this Satnav Dvd Format For The Sat Nav - Civinfo

Make sure you burn at the lowest possible speed
