    cpu usage

just built a new pc Intel i5 2500k,8gb corsair vengeance memory running windows 7 with 63 processes running in the background . everything is new in the case but noticed the cpu usage very high hitting the 90% when using azurues and a couple of internet explorer tabs.

Is it on a fresh boot up?

I would run msconfig and disable any sprograms botting up. I'd also see what all those processes are and see about stopping them. I would also stop using ie and switch to firefox. Is there extra pluggins running in ie?

And i also think azurues uses java so i would be looking at that also, for alternatives etc

do a malware check also, malwarebytes and hitman pro are my weapons of choice, also make sure you got next to no toolbars running in your browser

Vuze is pretty bad at resource hogging especially if you have a large library in vuze, but if you press the start button and type resource monitor... you can see exactly what is hogging cpu time.
