    WIFI Continuously disconnects:(

I am with vermin and i allegedly have unlimited broadband. Last week i bought a new lappy and since then i am being continuously disconnected from the net. Not just this lappy, but ipads, phones and the xbox. I was recently moved to a more lightly used line which is great but this problem is a pain. This problem didn't start with this new lappy, it has just got worse in the last week. These problems always seems to coincide to with the end of our contract for some reason. Has anyone got any ideas of what i should try first before i phone them ? My ip is static if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance for replies folk's .

Don't have fibre, it is a channel. Rang virgin wks ago, they couldn't locate a fault on
the line. But I suspected a fault with the router despite it being less than a. Yr old, ( I refuse anything 2nd hand) I hear these new routre's are rubbish. I installed an extender recently, could that be causing diff's, is so what can I do about it apart from remove it,

        Thanks for your assistance folk's

is it a combined router modem similar to the cable superhub, if it is then turn off the wifi in the hub and use it as modem only and connect a seperate wifi router.
