Windows 8 Network Connection dropping off

Hi folks,

I have installed Windows 8 retail on my desktop and since then the network connections every now and then..

I have checked the power setting to High Performance and also checked all the drivers but internet keeps dropping off intermittently

I bought myself a samsung series 3 a week or 2 ago, love it. That said, it also has windows 8 and i getting a limited access icon. Its wired at the minute though virgin sending an engineer out to-morrow noon. All the devices in the house are loosing connection, phones, iphones, ipads and my old lappy all suffer the same problem. I thought that maybe the problem was caused by the wireless extender i recently installed. Though virgin tech guy said that wasn't the problem and that no device i have at home would cause it. I tinkered and tinkered and got nowhere. Maybe you should phone your provider or if your with sky do it online cause they are robbing b######s. This likely of little help though i thought i'd tell you your not alone. Don't let it drive you nuts like it did me. Have a good one.

Thanks mate... I'm with Virgin and had issues with Superhub initially but it has been fine.. the thing is all phones, tabs and laptop work except for the windows 8 desktop
