hi guys ive got a toshiba hdd of 320gb, and every time a plug it on my laptop it open the cd drive password that is master boot record(mbr), i would like to know how can i delete it partition, tks

I agree with nige, your making no sense at all. When exactly are you connecting the hard drive? and how is the cdrom coming into play?
To delete the partition you can do that through the set up cd of windows.
Have you tried to rewrite the MBR via the recovery console without the external connected?sigpic

it is like a small partition of my toshiba external usb hdd, when i plug it in my pc this partition always come first asking for a password, what im trying to do is to conenect this usb on my wii to play games, but i need the another partition of 298gb to boot first not this one.
I tryed to use the computer management to delete this one but dosent work, sorry about my english, tksComment

Dont you need to format it in a certain file system anyway to use on a wii? something like WBFS? You could kill all partitions within windows setup by booting from a windows cd/dvd (xp/vista/7)

what happens when u try delete the partition in Computer Managerment? why won't it do it?

Boot into windows by inserting the cd/dvd into the drive.
Enter BIOS (usually del/F2)
Set it to boot from the drive first then exit and save.
Power up the external and reboot pc.
Load setup and once inside setup, delete the partitions of the usb drive. Then recreate 1.
Reset the pc.
Dont boot from cd and go back into windows.
In My Computer it should be visable, format then.sigpic
