    Dell Latitude D800 HDD Password

    Hi,

    I have a big problem, some jerk in my company set a HDD password. It's a huge problem, because it's buisness laptop and someone waiting for it.

    IT'S a system Primery HDD password... From Bios I removed.

    Service Tag of latptop: 3RJ9B1J-595B
    Service Tag of disk: #POET4A2URHL-595B

    If it's help, I can use Linux, now I trying do it something for PlopLinux, but it isn't see disk.

      not work, unfortunately

      Bios is done, only HDD we must remove

        is there a service tag shown on screen at HDD password screen
        what happens if you enter a wrong password 3times

        also are you using qwerty type keyboard

          Yes, there is:
          "Hard-disk #POET4A2URHL-595B, the system Primary HDD, is protected by a password authentication system..."

          If I enter a wrong pass 3 time laptop booting from another place, example USB or CD, or if press F2 before quastion for HDD pass, go to bios.

          Yes, I using QWERTY keyboard

                Hey, can u tell me how you generate this code? Because time to time I have HDD with password and I must work for it many hours.

                    also HDD passwords only work if its the original HDD
