WINDOWS 8 DELETED ITSELF FROM ACER LAPTOP

Windows 8 seems to have gone from my ACER laptop. When I turn the laptop on it just says ACER and then says trying to find files but fails and turns back off.

I have no discs to re-install so what is my best option?

No the warranty has run out. Would it be possible to send a link in a private message, I am hopeless at finding torrents.

if you had windows 8 currently pre-installed

i would not recommend you delete it or install any other operating systems
because unless you have your serials backed up you will lose them

did you try recovery options ?

acer hp sometimes store backup on a separate partition allowing you to access at boot
by pressing certain keys with acer its usually ALT+F10 at start up

but if its out of warranty it would not be legit to begin with as most lappies have a 2 year warranty and win 8 not out that long

                  worth a try do

FAO Maca - It was a great win and a great day, I didn't expect nothing from it but I was completely shocked.

The file won't fit on one disc, does this matter?

you need a iso file type copy of windows 7, then burn the iso using img burn, choose burn img to disc and select the iso, when installing you may have to set the computer to boot from disc so you go straight into the setup mode then delete partion ,create new partion and install

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo are you trying to burn it to a cd or dvd you need a dvd as the image is over 1 and a half gigs

ImgBurn - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

                            burn with that
