    WINDOWS LIVE (MSN MESSENGER) HELP

    Hi DK, can anyone please help me out here, i had windows live with msn messenger on my pc, some how i have managed to delete it all from my pc, my son is going mental without it, i have tried to download it again but only goes so far then comes up with errors ect and telling me i have a newer version installed on pc but i cant find it to run it, can someone please guide me through in easy terms how to reinstall it back onto the pc for him. not to clever at these things cheer's.

    Use system restore, if your using xp you find it by clicking start button, navigate to accessories then system tools then system restore, then choose a restore point before you fu**ed up. you will not lose any work done or emails etc. If you have installed any programmes since that date you will need to re-install them. If you are on vista I think it's found in the control panel

      thank's m8 its on XP done system restore at 14/06/09. all back to normal cheer's.

        or you just search your hdd for "messenger"(live) (the shortcut link has been deleted, but messenger is still there) find it, start it and the problem is solved. nothing will remove "live Messenger" unless you, expressly, ask it to.
        this happened to me, recently. but messenger only vanished from one account (4 on the system). used the method i outlined, to sort it.

        Firemouth rules for life.
        If it aint broke, don't fix it!
        If its broke, fix it and use it again!
        If it proper broke, use it for something else!
