motorola surfboard modems

ive seen on eb*y motorola surfboard cable modems , what can you do with these and do they give you free broadband like the eurovox give free tv and his there a link or something to a site with more info ?

to be honest mate i think he's after a bit more than the Motorola Specs page..

The hacked ones off eBay will give you free broadband from what i can gather

You need to find the so called "haynes modem guide" via google

i bought one from eba*y i came with a disk the second i open the disk my avg virus scanner pik up 6 trojan virus and i couldnt load the software now ie got a hacked modem but dont have a clue how to use it
ive been told i need to get a mac address from somebody that lives just outside of my area ,but im lost ,and dont have a clue what to do

having looked on the motorola web page there seems to be various models, try the link and see if there is anything that may help you.

try downloading the chatterbox toolbar (think its changed names) they got software and a guide on how to.

did you get your surfboard flashed, if so how did you do it? i have a surfboard 4200e but cant flash it at all, doing my head in

The surfboard modems are covered by the haynes guide so basically use google. Cant say more as i dont know
