Black screen

Hi my son let the latest Microsoft updates load but now only a black screen and mouse arrow on reboot .Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try booting in safe mode (F8 from boot screen on most PC's), reinstall video drivers if you can boot into safe mode

Or roll back to a restore point before the updates.

You could also try resetting the bios, although I doubt this will do anything.
