Hi windows downloaded latest update and now I can't get any programs except in safe mode. Tried restore to an older date but error comes up unable to download file C. Any help please

there has been a problem with updates, if you can run in safe mode with network support and can access the internet then use the link which will give you a list of the updates that are causing the problems and a possible fix.

I don't have a disk for windows 7 only for VistaComment

Run the file safe.msi that I have uploaded, what it will do is allow you to uninstall programs or updates while in safe mode.
Then follow the instructions below:
1 Now go to Control Panel
2 Under the programs heading you will see uninstall a program, click this
3On the left hand side at the top you will see View installed updates, click on this
4 Now you will see a list of all the installed updates present on your computer
5 Delete the ones from the date when the problem started
6 When you have finished restart the PC
Hopefully your computer should be working back to before the issues.
