    ACER DESKTOP X3400 HELP NEEDED

I got an Acer desktop PC and it has been working great but the other day I done a normal scan with AVG anti-virus and everything returned good with no problems. I then tried turning it on the next day and it is not giving any output, the light comes on the tower but nothing on the screen.

I have tried two different monitors and used both VGA and HDMI cables.

Anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

would guess at the psu, while the lights come on a psu has many different voltages and one can go down yet the lights still be on. Get a psu tester or borrow one from a mate or a good pc repair shop should be able to test it for free also

the first thing to do is unplug your hard drive then try booting the machine

next test the psu. if that comeback ok then the graphics card is next to test by switching it out with another and while ur in there re-sit your ram sticks

let us know what u get

Do Not plug in ur hdd until u get a output display
