It looks like this only happens to 400/500 series cards.
Ok so my pc kept freezing on me a few month back randomly at random times, browsing the net would cause it the most couldn't move my mouse, no keys worked so i had to manually reset the pc and it would start up fine and work for a while. This went on for about a week with me trying different mice and keyboards, checking ram and hd with nothing working. So eventually i stumbled across a post that's 4 month old, 431 replies, 93,529 views about a bug in drivers that does this to 400/500 series cards if u go past driver 314.07.
So just a heads up if u have the same problems you know what it is now and nvidia are doing f**k all about it atm.
