    Laptop to TV S-Video Connection

    Hi,
I have got a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop and a Panasonic Quintrix CRT TV both with S-Video.

I bought the S-Video lead and connected my laptop and TV together. I have selected AV3 on the TV and pressed my Fn+F8 keys on my lappy to change the display.
But still no picture on my TV.

I have just downloaded the new drivers and there is still nothing.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Many thanks!

depending on the cable you have it should goto the channel AV automatically, if not try switching thru until you get one which says SVideo

After connecting the S-Video Cable, make sure you re-boot the Laptop.
the laptop should then detect the TV is connected,

Ok, naks for the advice guys. I have plugged my Wii into the AV3 on the TV and it looks like it's that that doesn't work, so it's not the end of the world, I'll have to find another way...
